Volkel Airshow 2004 (Part 4) |
||||
|
::: Let's return to the question 'Are we spoiled ?' Maybe we are, as we had some great Open Houses organized by the RNLAF over the last couple of years. So it is hard for any organization to meet these high standards. We must also not forget that the Open House is basically organized for the general public and not specific aimed at spotters. ::: An airshow at Volkel is almost always a guarantee for a great layout of the static show. This year was no exception. Almost all aircraft were positioned perfectly for the photographers among us. With a few exceptions even the guards were willing to step aside for a moment when you asked them. There was plenty of opportunity to shoot the flight demonstrations with the sun in your back. On Saturday there was lots of sun between the, short but heavy, showers. The local civilian community had the opportunity to earn some cash by managing the parking places around the base. Money for parking (€ 4,-) well spend in my opinion. ::: What grade would it get this year ? I would say a 8 ! Thank you Volkel. |
