::: The Open House at Twenthe was one to remember. Critical remarks regarding the static show aside, the organizers did a great job. A huge variation of interesting aircraft and a superb flying display made it all worthwhile.

::: The Open House will also be remembered for a long time by the personal of Twenthe Airbase. Many of them felt betrayed by their leadership as the Ministry of Defense announced the day after the show (what a timing !) that the base will be closed at the end of 2006 due to cutbacks. A fine way of communication... (not!).
