::: In the morning the weather was very dark and cloudy, but after a couple of hours there was a small window in the ceiling and for about 10 minutes hundreds of photographers ran from plane to plane to get some sunny pictures from each and every one. This tuned out to be a waste of energy as the weather turned out excellent during the afternoon.

::: At 14.00 hrs a large number of aircraft started their engines to take part in the so-called Combined Air Operations mission. This would result in another opportunity to take some great pictures.
