Kleine Brogel Spottersday 2004

::: The Belgian Air Force has a tradition of organizing high quality spottersdays. The base with the most experience in doing so is Kleine Brogel. For seven years in a row they managed to attract huge amounts of exotic aircraft from all over Europe.

::: On July 20, 2004 hundreds of spotters found their way to this northern Belgium fighterbase. Unfortunately the weather was very bad. Grey overcast combined with huge showers ruined an otherwise perfect day. (Therefore just a limited quality gallery.)  Although a number of aircraft could already been seen on the RIAT at Fairford the weekend before (Mir.IV, L-39, An-26, G-222 and a Jaguar) and there were also some participants from the European Trainer Meet (Mir.F-1B, SF-5M's), the line up of aircraft could only be qualified as 'impressive'. With so many rare and unique aircraft it is nearly impossible to name some the highlight but many would say it were the Czech MiG-21's that were the stars of the day.

::: Great participants, well positioned and perfect service. Thank you Belgian Air Force, but next time a little more sun please :-)
