RNLAF Training
@ Cecil
Field |
::: After the Dutch Air Force left CFB Goose Bay in 2002, they were looking for new training facilities in North America. After NAF El Centro, Melbourne airfield and Davis Montain AFB, they deployed to Cecil Field. The former Naval Air Station is now a civilian airfield and the AeroGroup company provided the support and facilities for the RNLAF. ::: Photographic opportunities at Cecil Field were limited due to the lack of (military) activities and the extreme security levels at the Boeing facilities. Fortunately some rare civilian operated fighters Skyhawks and Kfirs made up for this. |
