European Trainer Meet 2004 (Part 2)

::: The weather during the day was great, but to bad that just a few clouds had cover the sun by when the Spanish F-5's taxied along the crowd. All the profits from the standard entrance fee of € 20,- went to the Belgian Air Force Benevolent Fund, called Fonavibel. Most of the spotters attending preferred to pay this amount for this event than to spend € 5,- for some less organized public Open House.

::: Although the original list of invited aircraft was a little optimistic, it turned out to be well a superb event. With participants from Belgium, France, Denmark, Holland Germany, Italy, Spain, Ireland, the UK and the Czech Republic nobody had a reason to complain. Highlights in the form of a couple of Spanish F-5's, a brand new Irish PC-9, a French Mirage F-1B with invasion stripes and the Czech An-26 and L-159A made many people happy. Unfortunately a lot of people missed the two Italian SF-260's who arrived very late in the afternoon.

::: Again two thumbs up for the Belgian Air Force for hosting this event !
