::: The last couple of years the Belgian Air Force hosted a number of events especially for spotters on several bases. Next to  the famous events held at operational fighter bases Kleine Brogel and Florennes, an European Trainer Meet was held at training base Beauvechain. The goal of this event was to exchange experiences and ideas about training and teaching future airforce pilots. No 1 (Training) Wing invited numerous guests from several European airforces to share these experiences.

::: Especially for spotters the Belgian Air Force (or Air Component as it is called officially nowadays) organized a spottersday on 29 June. And what a day it was ! With some perfect unobstructed views along the taxitracks and access to the aprons, it seems the Belgians seems to understand the needs of the photographers among the spotters. At one time even the guards the guards removed some of the fences to allow people to take some shots of aircraft parked a little to close to these fences. What a service !!
