Royal International Air Tattoo (Part 4)

::: The Dutch Apache crew won both the FRIAT 'As The Crow Flies Award' and the 'Sir Douglas Bader Trophy'. Well deserved !

::: The rehearsal of the RAF Typhoon on Friday ended almost in a disaster as it nearly collided onto the runway after loosing both altitude and speed after a maneuver. The Flying Control Committee ordered it to abort the flight immediately, but did not give it the red card for the rest of the show (politics ?)

::: The limbo dance stunt (yes, stunt !) of the Honda Dream Team Su-26 was unbelievable. It flew inverted with 2 feet margin beneath twelve ribbons held between poles 'volunteers' standing at the runway. It could only be described as a big lack of judgment of the Flying Control Committee in upholding the safety standards ! Stunts like this should not be allowed by a organization which (says it) is keen on its (public)safety !
