::: Among the other highlights was the spectacular demonstration of the British Chinook crew who flew the plane like it was a fighter aircraft. Bierset was probably also the only place in Europe where you could see the RAF newest helicopter performing.

::: The Belgian rescue Sea King showed how to lower and pickup a person from a moving object. A large cargo truck was moving down the runway, while the hoist operator lowered the rescue diver onto the 'deck of the ship in distress' simulated by the truck.

::: For the first time some fighter aircraft were taking part in the show. The static was opened by two French Mirage 2000's, while the Belgian Air Component made a number of flyby's with 4 F-16's in different formations. A refreshing idea to show how entertaining some basic flight maneuvers can be for the public!

::: In short: it was a very nice event!
